Mingus Mill in the Early 1900's

In the early 1900s, Mingus Mill was still an operating gristmill grinding corn and wheat for famlies in the surrounding area. Mingus Mil continued to operate until about 1930 when the land, along with the mill, was bought for inclusion in the newly created Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
